Potholes and extensive gravel on road and verges

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
I am unable to get the drag photos facility to work. This road, particularly in the area pinpointed has extensive deposits of wash down gravel on the highway and obscuring the road edges. There are also many potholes and a poor surface generally. This, coupled with poor light due to a ‘tunnel’ of overhanging trees results in very hazardous conditions for car drivers pedestrians and particularly cyclists.

This is a persistent and recurring problem, which OCC have known about for over a year. It is getting worse and more dangerous.

I drove down Elvendon Lane yesterday and there are extensive banks of gravel on the roadsides still spilling onto the road, particularly about 50-60 yrds further down the road towards Goring. The surface generally all the way down is very uneven and dangerous
