Bad hole and edge of road - NCN5

Reported via desktop by Andy Ellis at 16:56, Fri 30 October 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

On NCN5 northbound, alongside the rugby pitches, there is a section of the (concrete) road that is broken away (for over a metre width) and a significant hole. This is a dangerous edge and hole for cyclists, particularly so now that it is dark for the evening commute. Significant risk of casing a fall. It had been "filled in" with loose sand in the early summer but hat was pointless and no way to eliminate the danger and that sand is now gone

  • There is still no repair to this section and it is getting worse.... see photos. This is a well-used route and a National Cycle Network route so should not take tis long to get some repair action...
