Road seriously damaged by increased traffic and heavy vehicles (despite width restriction

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 12:08, Tuesday 27 October 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The road has high steep banks either side of a narrow carriageway. For lorries to pass each other they have to drive nto the bank creating trenches between the metalled surface and the bank. Some "trenches" are 4" deep and a serious haxard to vehicle wheels and steering ability. Basically the whole road between the village boundary and the A4130 needs remaking with new gullies that work to prevent the annual floodind near King's Piece.

Thankyou very much, in advance
