  • Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that the ‘Keep Clear’ roadmarking was installed by Oxfordshire County Council, following a request for an Access Protection Marking (https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ residents/ roads-and-transport/ street-maintenance-z/ private-access-markings ) was determined to be unsuitable, due to the number of dropped kerbs within the vicinity of this small cul-de-sac. The marking is, like the access protection marking, not in itself enforceable, however, it has been installed so to remind drivers who may not be local to the area, that they should park carefully in respect to everyone’s various access points.

    We trust this helps clarify.
