Uneven area and loose edging stones between dropped kerb and pavement

Between the dropped kerb and the pavement, the surface has been made very uneven and broken up by vehicles turning around and/or driving over it to park on the side of the road. It needs re-tarmacing. This has also resulted in unbedding the edging stones adjacent to the road. This is a route used by parents and children walking to Hillview School and whilst we 'slot' the edging bricks back in when we see them, it really needs a permanent fix to avoid accidents. I see that work like this has been carried out in other parts of the street. It has been uneven for some time but has got much worse of late.
