Outside 15 Winters Way, Bloxham

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There is a parking issue next to property above. This area of highway land used to have five bollards on it to stop vehicles parking on it, but three have been damaged (the other two are going rotten) and residents have started parking on the land again. Therefore, please could the Parish Council request that these bollards are replaced by OCC. Also OCC highway records confirms ownership, a hand drawn location plan and photos of the bollards when they were in place.

Thank you for your email regarding the replacement of wooden posts outside number 15 Winters Way, Bloxham.
Where a town, parish council or resident wants permanent protection for a Highway verge, we can arrange installation of such bollards, however this would be at a cost to themselves, as stated on our public website. For further information regarding this, please visit our public website on the link below.

We will also not fund future maintenance costs if damaged or worn.
Parking on Highway verges is a widespread issue throughout the county and unfortunately, we do not have the budget available to install/replace such bollards.
