For a long time there has been a noisy drain cover on the main road, this has got worse and worse and is sinking further down in the road. as traffic hits the cover it sounds like a gun shot, a lot worse when HGV vehicles cross it shakes our house's we are in next road. Will not be long before this causes an accident

Please can you sort this drain out, constant bang bang noise all day and night also shakes our houses when HGV vehicles cross it. It is a noise nuisance that is effecting a number of households three of which are occupied by elderly and infirm people ( oldest 103 ). Please can you sort this . C Smith (smithycd@yahoo.co.uk)

No action taken, noise is getting louder 24hrs a day needs to be fixed , this is upsetting for all those living close to the location of the drain. Very poor and uncaring response from those responsible for these matters.
