Street lights not woking
Reported via mobile in the Street lighting category anonymously at 08:26, Sun 18 October 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The street lights along CleeveDown are not working. This was not so bad in the summer, but with the winter and it becoming darker earlier this ideally needs fixing.

Thanks for your report, this has already been reported to our contractor but we have been advised it is a mains supply fault for which they are allowed up to 28 days to fix it under the terms of the contract. We hoe it won't take that long!

Sorry about this. We are at the mercy of SSE our contractors and have reported this numerous times. They tell us it is a mains supply fault but despite the deadline for fixing it having passed they appear unable to tell us what the continuing delay is. We will keep chasing them but unfortunately they are the only ones who can fix it.
