Footway under railway bridge flooding
Reported via desktop in the Drainage category anonymously at 15:28, Fri 16 October 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There is water constantly running under the railway bridge on the north side, meaning that pedestrians have to walk towards the middle of the carriageway or cross the road. Current construction has left the south side also flooded. Traffic to the industrial estate and the car park at Sandford Lock is not local and does not respect speed limits. This presents a hazard to cyclists and pedestrians.

On Sandford lane, the footpath opposite path leading to Poplar Grove has been closed with a large fence blocking access.

The problem is still there. The kerbs on both sides of the road need siding out, particularly under the rail bridge - there is a lot of mud/debris/grass on the road edge surface. Also the side with the houses by the railway, the drive leaks water (spring?), this water mises the adjacent road drainage gully, so a tweek of tarmac levels would help.
