Large potholes all along Foxholes Lane. When it has rained there is water all over the rain and these potholes cannot be seen. My car is getting damaged.

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 19:43, Sun 11 October 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There are many deep holes along Foxholes Lane which are damaging cars, particularly when there is heavy rain and the road floods. Stones are left behind the surface when this happens and are extremely dangerous.

  • Most but not all, potholes have been patched, but I can't see that the underlying problem of water (and frosts) that are wrecking the road have been attended to.. Why does the road turn into a running stream after even a small amount of rain? And the loose stones on the road are still there. I still feel that my car is being damaged after rain when I can't see the existing pothols.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Having complained about the poor drainage causing flooding, potholes and road subsidence, perhaps a month or so back, last week Fix My Street emailed me to say the problem has been attended to. TO DATE, IT HAS STILL NOT BEEN! Some of the potholes have been marked for repair, although not all and none have been filled. Nor have I seen any attempt at sorting out the underlying problem, which will cause more potholes in the near future.
