Oak Tree causing damage to property

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 13:59, Sunday 11 October 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As you can see from the attached photo a young Oak tree (Photographed in 2009) planted within the Highway strip in Town Farm Close has grown significantly over the last 11 years since we built our property. It is beginning to cause damage to our property, roots are starting to lift some of the paving block in our driveway, branches are beginning to obstruct larger vehicles driving into the Close and as a result broken some of the branches. There is also a significant amount of Oak sap which covers our car and kitchen windows. My understanding is that Oak trees can grow up to 45 metres tall and can spread almost as wide which makes it's location a potential danger to our property. I would like to request its removal.
