Tree pushing the telephone pole and about to fall onto the B481.

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 14:57, Friday 9 October 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

On the B481, on the footpath, just in front of 2 Stonehouse Cottages RG9 5DU, there is a big, old tree that has started to fall. It is situated right next to the telephone pole and it has already "pushed" it slightly. Both and is pushing the telephone pole onto the road. The tree is already half fallen and it looks like both the tree and the telephone pole will soon fall onto the road.

  • Hello again, I've just been at this spot (on the B481 road, in Highmoor, just in front of 2 Stonehouse Cottages, RG9 5DU) and it seems the tree are telephone pole are leaning more than a few weeks ago. Also, as you can see, the tree is totally enmeshed in the pole, which may affect the quality of the phone line for all the houses around. I hope this can be fixed soon, thank you

  • * the tree and telephone pole sorry Also, I haven't pinpointed it very precisely on the map. The spot is actually just about in front of Holly Close, so a bit further up the road.
