Overhanging trees and pavement parking means pedestrians have to walk in the road. Difficult for wheel chair users to go round the obstacle.

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, in front of Wootton House, Arnolds Way, see photos, and assessed the problem you have identified. I have requested a letter be sent to owners of Wootton House asking them to cut back their trees, overhanging the footway, within 28 days of receipt.

  • Thank you for your report. After recently visiting the site again, on 05/11/2020, see photos, I have handed a further 14 day notice to the residents of Wootton House, Arnolds Way, to cut back their trees which are still obstructing the footway. They said that it was a rented property and they would forward on the 14 day notice, although, the landlord had been given our original 28 day notice, and was in the process of engaging a contractor to cut them back.
