Hedge surrounding the adjacent property to the pin overgrown and obstructing the highway
Reported via mobile in the Grass category anonymously at 10:05, Mon 5 October 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The hedge that surrounds the boundary to this property which is named Longside and is on the north side of Tatham Road is significantly overgrown and is impeding safe access along the highway. Please note, this stretch of hedge is the responsibility of Longside and not the Residents of Ashenden and Lyon Close who maintain the hedge up to the boundary with Longside. The hedge has been overgrown for some months now.

This has now got worse and encroaches 50% into road. A traffic accident waiting to happen. Needs to be cut urgently. This problem has not been fixed

I believe that a council representative has visited the site since the original report was logged and there was some query about the ownership of that area of the boundary. I have attached a copy of the land registry plans which shows clearly the boundary of Longside and how they are responsible for the area of overgrown hedge. The fence dog-legs around their property boundary and the Northcourt Residents Association (NCRA) responsible for the upkeep of the field maintain the boundary up to that point. I believe that the NCRA hedges may even have been cut back today.
