The flooding is getting worse by the minute. We have got up every two hours in the night to check water isn't coming in like it did before and emptying buckets away. We are not in thr village of blackthorn but out by the A41. The ditches in the village have been cleared but not those around where we are. They are full and we have no idea who does it. The flooding is getting worse than ever. Our address is Weirdown, Station Road, Blackthorn, OX25 1TA. My husband is very stressed and won't stop trying to move the water at the front of the house. I took the front door photo after he had taken buckets and buckets away. Other people in the village are okay I think because their ditches have been cleared. Ours are over flowing.

We have been out to see the rest of the village. The ditches are full all around so it isn't just by us. Thr whole village is flooded and some roads impassable. Water is flowing from one ditch and down or driveway. The A41 is flooded.

I have made a contact with local Parish Council and make them aware about the issue.
They should contact riparian owners and remind them about responsibility to keep maintaining ditches adjacent to their land. Thank youState changed to: Investigation complete
