Hedge needs cutting back

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
We chave lived at No 1 Turnberry close for over 8 years. During that time the hedge on the road side of our wall has alwaysw been looked after by the local authority, in the same way as the grass verge on the edge oif the roundabout has. Were know told that this hedge is our responsibility to maintain as the border of our land apparently reaches the edge of the pavement. This does not make sense to me, as why would you build your boundary wall within and not on the boundary. Please could you clarify because if this is the case I will get the hedge removed and relocate my wall to the edge of the boundary.

This report is not the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council. After cheeking our and Land registry online maps again and speaking to our Records team, we have come to the conclusion that the hedge area and the small section of verge including the tree are NOT OCC land and look to be part of your property. Any queries of moving your fence line and removing he hedge will need to be directed to Cherwell DC Planning department. kind regards.
