Sink void and uneven crumbling tarmac causing surface water flooding to damage house walls
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 16:16, Sun 27 September 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Badly repaired/tarmac onoutside 73 Grove Street Wantage causing water to get trapped between house and street. Rain water no longer runs to drain but instead into house rotting the timber beams and causing internal damp. Constant water trapped has also caused tarmac to fail and holes all along pavement to appear. Again these holes allow water to enter structure of house. Issue was first identified in July but is likely been there for some time hence inside damp walls. Uneven pavement is caused by numerous digging up of pavement I can only assume.
