Broken, overhanging branch in danger of falling onto road.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A high branch on a tree on the opposite side of the road to 56 Over Norton Road (east side) has snapped and is dangling precariously. It will come down at some point and has the potential to damage pedestrians and/or road vehicles. Tree is rooted in Over Norton Park and is tagged no 03629.

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The overhanging trees present are on land maintainable by the adjacent landowner and not by the County Council. We have sent correspondence to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to resolve the situation.
