  • I'm not aware of any road marking work that is taking place in Chipping Norton. Additional double yellow lines would need to be consulted upon and the Traffic Regulation Order amended. This would cost you upwards of £3,200.00 and take up to 12 months. If a current white access protection marking needs refreshing I will check this out and it will be added to our maintenance spreadsheet for the next financial year commencing April 2021. However, I am unable to guarantee exactly when the work will take place because we will be carrying forward a large backlog of work that has not been completed this year due to the limited budget available for this type of work.

  • We are unable to just add extra parking restrictions because these are specified in the Traffic Regulation Order. If there is a white Keep Clear that has faded I can arrange to have this refreshed but it will not be until possibly some time in the next financial year.
