Poor lighting- lamp no.4 OX12 7LL
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 20:37, Wed 23 September 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Previous logged but has since been closed, but not by me,so re-logging again as new light is rubbish. The old yellow light was replaced with a white led light. The spread and coverage of the new light is no where near the level of the old light. Some of the residents are in their 70/80's and good light is essential. Lamp no3. was replaced recently with a like-for-like lamp, that's what no.4 should be.

Sorry to hear of this issue, unfortunately the light would have been replaced for a new LED due to the older lantern becoming obsolete. I will ask our contractors to see if there is anything they can do to get more of a light spread, apologies for the inconvenience

Contractors won't do anything, waste of space! Replacement LED is insufficient, might be used as a footpath light BUT NOT as a street lamp. Needs replacing with brighter spread LED or install extra streetlamp(s). Will get the council involved.
