Overgrown Vegetation
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 17:58, Tue 22 September 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Brambles and other bushes have overgrown onto the pavement causing the pavement to be very narrow in places. This is very close to the primary school and is causing difficulty with keeping to social distancing guidelines. It is virtually impossible for two people to pass safely and the brambles obscure the view totally in places. It is made worse by passengers from parked cars having to open doors onto the pavement and further obscuring the very limited space. I have had to step into the busy road on numerous occasions to avoid breaking the 2m rule when the access is busy at school times. This vegetation has been overgrown in places for several years and just gets worse as the majority of it is never cut back.
