Road markings and white lines fairly non existent on road from Brize to C

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 07:54, Monday 21 September 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Small sections of the brize to Curbridge road have been 're painted with lines but the majority of this road has none. Dark nights and foggy conditions make this twisty road dangerous to drive.

  • Thank you for your report. The road between Curbridge and Brize Norton has already been identified, along with approximately 60 other locations in West Oxfordshire, that will need the centre lining refreshing sometime in the future. Of course, this number is increasing as time goes on. This year we were able to refresh the lining on 3 routes within the district. The areas that have not been refreshed will be looked at again next year however the budget available for this type of work is limited and I am unable to confirm exactly when this route will be refreshed,
