Trees blown down over footpath.

Littleworth Nature Reserve (Land Registry Title ref ON282408) is owned by OCC. During the recent strong winds several trees have been blown into a precarious position over, and next to, the footpath that runs through it.

  • The recent snowfall has exacerbated the problem of dangerous trees lying above and across the informal footpaths. A resolution is becoming urgent.

  • Since reporting this issue, a local community action group, the Friends of Littleworth Nature Reserve, has started removing some of the fallen trees that have blocked footpaths, or are hanging precariously above. Some of the larger trees still require attention to make them safe.
