Long groove by recreation ground on the B4017 at Steventon.

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 06:59, Friday 18 September 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I reported this case in July, and it was chucked out. So I have taken 2 more photo's to show you how dangerous this is to cyclists on this road is. I placed my wheel in the groove and tried to turn my handle bar to get out ,it would not turn. If it rained and the groove was full of water and a cyclist went in that groove. That person could come off their bike and a car or lorry could hit them and kill them. So could you please reconsider this case before someone gets killed as the winter months are just around the corner.

As an OAP and i love cycling. i'm a bit concerned about this groove in the road on the B4017 by the recreation ground near the speed camera going south at Steventon. If a cyclist gets the wheel in this groove then this person could be danger of coming off. At the end of the day its health and safety. please can you have a look.
