One side of the road blocked
Reported anonymously at 15:04, Wednesday 16 September 2020
Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There has been cars parked along one side of the hill for years, with traffic getting worse there is less and less space to pass the parked cars. Often with on coming cars there is no where to move over. Being on a hill it is impossible to judge if you can make it before another car. This road used to be double yellow lines, but with the current parking issue they haven’t be able to be refreshed. This is also a main bus route, with a bus stop nearing the end of the hill.

Thank you for your report. I have visited this location on 18.9.2020, unfortunately, the location you are referring to has no double yellow lines, I can confirm that there are no double yellow lines between Miller Road and Mold crescent. The only double yellow lines in this location are near the junction of Prescott Avenue, which have been recently repainted after carriageway repairs to The Fairway. If you should find thats cars are ignoring the double yellows in this location which can prevent an unclear view of the junction, please report this to Thames Valley police on 101 or online at www.askthe.police.uk who have the powers to enforce this issue.Regards
