Dangerous Road- speed limit needs to be reduced

Reported anonymously at 22:53, Fri 11 September 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

The current speed limit is 30 mph on a sharp bend. I live here and walk to our local cricket field and centre from my house on Windrush farm. I have been nearly run over on numerous occasions as cars speed around the sharp bend, including cars, lorries, vans and bikes. I have had to throw myself into a hedge for safety. There is no mark for pedestrians on the road anymore since it has been tarmac. There isn’t a black and white sign to signify a sharp bend. It needs a speed limit of 10 mph on this road. I had many confrontations which car drivers who come speeding around the road unaware that pedestrians use the road too. We need more protection or myself or children will be killed one day. Please help.
