Speed restriction signs

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 16:45, Wednesday 9 September 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The speed restriction signs at the western end of Hempton are badly faced and not fit for purpose. AS this village is one of the worst in the County for both inappropriate speed and potentially dangerous speed, it would be better if a properly designed entrance/ Exit gate is installed in both ends of the village. There is a haulage route operating at the moment with 4 axle 30 Tonne vehilces. Most exceed the speed limit by 10 to 15 mphI would be very happy to discuss the situation with one of your officers.
