The pavement is unfinished and dangerous for pedestrians

Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 16:44, Wed 9 September 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

All along this stretch the pavement was dug up and has been left unfinished now for at least three weeks. All the ironworks are raised and there are no warning signs or anything to suggest the roadworks are on going. It has left this stretch of footpath (well used by school children and people of all ages,) dangerous.

  • I walk this path everyday and it has been like it for two months now. Even worse at night as surface uneven and drains are raised above pavement level, a real trip hazard ! - lighting is very poor.

Also this stretch of pavement is nearly always covered in mud from contractors digging next to half done Path and barriers are often left lying across Path making it impassable for many people and mean you have to step into the road. Given this is main route to King Alfreds school and lots of children it is totally unacceptable it has been like this for so long now
