Dangerous Street
Reported in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 19:58, Mon 7 September 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
For many Years Turl Street, High Street end has the Highway Code sign of No Entry for Cars/Motorcycles. However, this sign is always being ignored and has become very dangerous for Pedestrians/Cyclists from Taxi and Cars who are flouting the Law. In the current situation with COVID and social distancing something needs to be done about this as an Accident could happen. I have seen Taxi Companies, flout this rule, going down from the High Street to Turl Street at speed, for some reason we have always had a Bollard at the Turl Street/Market street end but what is the point this if Cars are being let though from HIgh Street. Something needs to be done ASAP.

Is there any update on this, Traffic is still coming down Turl Street from the High Street. And causing a lot of issues, for Pedestrians and Bike Users.
