Following my telephone conversation with a member of your staff at 11.00 on the first of September. I would like to re-report an ongoing problem with the road adjoining our house, the old A420, Townsend Road as it passes through Shrivenham. Some years ago a trench was dug across the road for communication reasons and was badly re-surfaced, leading to constant noise and vibration from passing traffic especially with Westbound traffic particularly when heavy traffic passes over the uneven surface. This is not so much a problem when outside the house but causes a large amount of vibration within the house, as the road in question is on the route for the Swindon-Oxford bus, the disturbance and vibration begins early in the morning and continues until late at night.
