Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:30, Saturday 5 September 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
On the hill after the bridge, two places are now leaking water, which is now flowing over the road causing a hazard , in addition concerned that the embankment of trees and shrubs that the soil could be eroding which makes them unstable because of the water flowering. This is an issue for both highways ,and Thames Water..and it’s been this situation for months

I previously reported this problem as well and my report was closed without action. This is an ongoing issue and the road conditions are hazardous considering it is a steep hill with a lot of traffic incl trucks and cyclists

This water running across the whole width of the road and being spread further by traffic volume has been pretty much a constant issue since Spring. Now that night temperatures are set to fall significantly, soon there will be an ice risk on what is a steep and heavily used hill. May I suggest some urgency is applied to remedy this.

This water has been running across the road all this year as it has done in previous years but the water use to dry up with the onset of warmer weather but this year even with the long spell of hot weather it has not so something must be seriously wrong and I imagine the source of this water and it’s route must be eroding the soil away.

This report is not the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council. It is clean water which means either a Thames water leak or a spring. Please report to Thames water.
