At the bottom of Church Street there is a wooden for entry to the Old Prebendal Care Home. This is mainly used by the residents to the care home when visiting the church, War Memorial and Ivy's Flower shop. When it rains the entrance floods, making almost impossible for the elderly to leave, and virtually impossible for wheel chair users. As above really. I believe Old Prebendal Care Home have contacted you in the past concerning this matter of flooding.

  • the care home will need to allow access to the property to enable an investigation of the drainage system that run through there land.

  • Thank you for reporting this issue. The gully issue/blockage has been investigated and will be included to clear the gully and jett the drain and trace. access has been spoken about with the maintenance staff today.
