Two blocked surface water drains
Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 08:38, Sunday 30 August 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Both surface water drains are blocked, one on either side of the road. This causes extensive flooding when raining causing vehicles to use the middle of the road on a hidden dip. Both drains are opposite each other approximately 50meters Bledlow side of where the footpath meets the road (as indicated on the map). This has been reported several times before and nothing has been done about this. This has now got to the point where the drains have vegetation growing out of them and are barely visible and are in urgent need of clearing.

I reported this in February 2020 and to date nothing has happened. The gullies and ditch simply need clearing, how long can this take???

This was reported in February 2019, February 2020 and again in August 2020 yet still no action has been taken. We are well into the rainy seasons and it won’t be long before there is a serious accident caused by people trying to avoid the floods immediately after a blind summit.

Again this has not been cleared and today water is right across the road causing vehicles to have to go into the middle of the road. This requires urgent attention. All that is required is to clear the drains and ditches.
