Tree branches over sign

Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 17:46, Fri 28 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

It’s a newly erected sign explaining the road has changed with a new layout but it’s covered in foliage from hanging trees. You’d have thought whoever erected the sign would have made sure it can be seen!

Council ref: ENQ20874925

  • New sign erected behind tree branches not allowing the signs to be read is stupid in my opinion! The leaves on the branches cover up the sign explaining there is a new road layout and other stuff

  • Blocked drain on A4155 at bottom of bridlepath next to old garden centre. - causing flooding on main road and damage to bridlepath entrance.

  • The branches cover more of the sign than the photo shows. Someone needs to go and cut back the branches.

  • The leaves have fallen due to the season. The branch still over hangs the sign so it will grow back and cover the sign again.

  • The leaves have dropped off so you can see the sign now but will need to be chopped when they regrow
