Large piece of tarmac has come away from paving - dangerous to pedestrians, pushchairs and wheelchair uses
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 17:53, Wed 26 August 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Poor repair done last year which has now dislodged when someone still tripped over it. The repair of the pavement needs to be carried out properly so that it lasts rather than fill with a lump of tarmac and hope for the best.Tripping hazard higher than the allowed measure.

Highways have been out to review the flagstone and have now marked it ready for repair. I have been informed that they will need to lift and relay the flagstones as they cannot disrupt the tree roots. Care will be needed when the pavement gets wet as there is an additional problem of flooding when the rain is heavy. This will conceal the raised flag making it more hazardous.
