Flooding at the junction of West Street, West End & the Green. I have reported this before & you have recorded it as fixed however, the first time it rained it flooded, the drains do not cope. This is a danger to vehicles & pedestrians & where a school crossing is!

Hi there
After the flooding on the 15th, 16th and 17th of August 2020, I contacted insurance regarding water flooding from the street reaching our door way. The investigator showed me that the water drainage system outside number corner of Green str & West End in Chipping Norton in the road was blocked with debris and asked me to contact the Council to clear this to prevent further flooding. It seems to be leaves and other foliage that has blocked this drain.

03/10/2020 - Road has once again flooded as drains at the junction of West End, West Street and The Green are blocked. My husband and I were soaked by passing cars trying to cross from our parking space to our house. After reporting the problem in August this drain has not been cleaned and is still blocked. Water continues to damage my property and adjoining properties. Please clean this drain. Thank you.

31st October 2020. It rained today & the road was flooded. You worked on the drains in June/July this year & since then the road has flooded every time it has rained, what damage did you do to the drainage system & can you please rectify the issue, thank you?

From Sunday 24th’s snow and subsequent ice - the storm drain flooding work, which was completed last week is now damaged. The tarmac on the hole at the top Johnson’s way on west end has completely broken up exposing a newly flooded hole. Oh dear! This could compromise the whole fix? Would you please prioritise the team to come straight back and make good. Not their fault - but a stitch in time might save nine.

3/5/21 It's raining, guess what, it's flooding. When will you people fix this issue? I first reported this August 2020, why haven't you fixed this yet? This is beyond funny now, if you can't fix it, get someone that can!

Saturday 8/5/21, this was first reported August 2020 and it still isn't fixed, why? Can someone please own this problem and get it soretd. This is an area of a school crossing for our youngest children, does it take a child's life before you fix it?

13/5/21 It is raining and again it is flooded. This is an area where our youngest children cross the road going to school, the school crossing lady stands here. You have a duty of care and are negligent.
