Pedestrian Crossing

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Like to request a pedestrian crossing to be installed at the bottom of Denchworth Road in Wantage closest to the Mably Way (aeroplane) Roundabout. the crossing should be where the northern entrance to Whittington Crescent is situated as this is used by a great many children as a cut through for both King Alfreds & Stockham Schools. Denchworth Road is very busy and traffic on the road heading north or south is often travelling well above the 30mph speed limit. this crossing would also be of great use to people heading to and from the recreation fields in Grove so possibly a second crossing on Mably Way may also be an advantage?
