Rising bollard not working

Reported anonymously at 12:22, Monday 24 August 2020

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The rising bollard has not been working for some time. This bollard was very effective at reducing car traffic during school drop off and pick up times, keeping pedestrians and cyclists safe. This is even more important at the moment as there is insufficient space on the bridge footpath to stay even 1m distance from other people. This will be critical as the school will have staggered timings increasing the numbers of two way pedestrians and cyclists.
