Two pothole/repaired potholes

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:20, Sat 22 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There are 2 strips of sunken tarmac from previous pothole repairs and previous works that are now causing my windows to shake every time vehicles pass over them. More often than not there are vehicles parked opposite, so traffic in both directions have to drive over the potholes, doubling the amount of window shaking. Small cracks in my walls have undoubtedly been caused by this poor road surface.

  • One of the holes has has a "quick fix" but this section really needs re-surfacing to bring it in line with the rest of the street. The two trenches that were dug previously have started to sink - as can be seen in the photos. My windows still shake!

  • Does anyone actually read these? This problem is now 10 times worse than when initially reported. It doesn't help that heavy trucks heading to and from the new housing developments are using this route constantly. When the housing developments first appeared, there was a 7.5t weight restriction in place - what has happened to this?

  • Still waiting for this to be assessed properly - come on OCC, when is this stretch of road going to be dealt with??

The quick fix has already fallen apart and is becoming dangerous again. And is not doing the cracks in my house any good!!!

    SORT IT OUT PLEASE
