Road Markings are not clear

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 09:03, Friday 21 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The road markings to let drivers know were to stop at the roundabout are not clear. Drivers coming out of Wickes/Aldi often pull too far out preventing traffic on the Launton Road from driving around the roundabout and forcing them to illegally go over the top of the raised roundabout.

  • I had a near miss when a car failed to stop at the junction. Vehicles coming out of Aldi and Wickes pull too far out onto the roundabout due to no road markings

  • Approach the roundabout on Launton Road with caution as vehicles coming from Aldi/Wickes pull too far out into the junction forcing cars to drive over the top of the roundabout. This is due to worn road marking.
