Pothole due to new drainage

Workman having done work but have left tarmac uneven and very low.

  • This is not drainage, it is a stop cock for the supply of fresh water to the new build in Boscher’s yard. Th cause is incorrect back-fill material, (viz ballast instead of MOT type 1)

  • The repaired patch is quickly sinking around the access cover. This will cause damage to a car wheel and tyre. As such it is a significant road and driving hazard. The depth of the repair is additionally a hazard to cyclists.

  • This is getting significantly worse and will, if not already has done, cause a lot of damage to a vehicle or cyclist. It really needs to be fixed within the next day.
