'Slow down' horses signage needed

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 09:03, Mon 17 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There are several liveries and Common Leys campus in the area and therefore often horses on the roads/lanes. Riders feel it is too dangerous to ride along the lanes. Signage warning of horses and requesting vehicles to slow down is needed.

Council ref: ENQ20873728

  • Are you able to send a google map or similar showing where the liveries are and the length of road in question? County resources are stretched and I can make no promises. Ideally if there were existing posts and other warning signs in the area it might be possible to add horse warning to the existing signs... thanks james.wright@oxfordshire.gov.uk
