Lowered road surface,so raised ironwork

Reported via Android in the Pothole category by David Seed at 08:21, Sat 15 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A danger to cyclists. This is very recent work. Providing services to new estate in Boschers yard. The reasson is clear, the fill material is full of voids and so finer material fills the voids and collapses the surface above. As Seen in picture 2. Taken from opposite side of road. This same problem i previously reported not far away with a sewer pipe i think. About (50 papist way) Do the water people have the correct spec for the fill material. Shouldn't they be using MOT type 1.

Council ref: ENQ20873625

  • Not just a danger to cyclists. Going to ruin a good few car tyres if it doesn't get sorted quickly, and could cause dangerous swerving to avoid it
