Drain on the main road fails to clear as the ditch it goes to has collapsed and is blocked

Reported in the Gully and Catchpits category anonymously at 12:36, Friday 14 August 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The drain at the top of my drive on the main road is frequently blocked, the ditch it goes to has collapsed and blocks the pipe to enable it clear the road. the result is that water then comes down my drive and threatens to flood our house. we have spent £4000 providing drainage so that normal water is clearded away. but when you get heavy rain the drain cannot cope and then starts to flood and the only escape route for the water is my drive. the drain is just 3/4 yards after the old red telephone box which is the other side of my drive. the post code is ox182eg and my house is at the bottom of the drive immediately next to the old red telephone box. will you please investigate this, your response that you cant find the address is unacceptable. this is not the first time i have complaned about this. i am fed up with reporting this and being pushed from one department to the next all saying its someone else's problem. if i do not receive a satisfactory response then i will take up the issue with my local mp. i am happy to phone or for you to phone me
