Height of Tree causing it to lean towards housing

********THIS IS AN OXFORDSHIRE HIGHWAYS RESPONSIBILITY ********* Tree surgeons have attended this tree recently but have NOT reduced it's height. During the heavy rain & sudden storm on 12th Aug 2020 the trunk of this tree could be seen to be moving which if falls is likely to hit the housing in Caudwell Close due to the way it is already leaning causing catastrophic damage to housing. I would request that this tree's height is reduced as a matter of urgency. ********THIS IS AN OXFORDSHIRE HIGHWAYS RESPONSIBILITY *********

Thank you for your enquiry. The tree has been assessed, both recently in calm weather and today during high winds. Work was scheduled to be conducted to the tree and has now been satisfactorily completed. In addition we have conducted a climbing inspection of the tree. We will not currently be conducting any further reduction works to the tree. Though have scheduled for the tree to be respected within 12 months.
