Tree overgrowth and root damage causing street light to tip from vertical

Tree overgrowth has been allowed to go unchecked since estate built and is now damaging street lighting /furniture and may cause injury to pedestrians should the lamp post tip over.

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The trees present are on land not deemed to be part of the highway maintainable at public expense by OCC in the County‚Äôs capacity as local highway authority. The trees are on land that is maintainable by the Local Town Council and not by the County Council. We endeavour to transfer this enquiry to them; however, you may also wish to contact them directly to pursue this enquiry further.
