Road, pavement and garden flooded due to blocked drains in Station Road and Honey Lane

The drains near the double round about on station road and Honey Lane are blocked again. This leads to flooding of the road especially the section of Station Road between said roundabouts and bus stops and on Honey lane from roundabout to Pound Lane. Some 4 years back broken pipes were fixed which fixed the problem, but now, while not as severe as a broken pipe the drains are blocked enough to threaten properties from flooding in heavy rains like experienced recently/currently. Water entred my garden last night as well as Weds evening during the thunderstorms. This is a problem which should not be an issue, can be easily prevented by some routine maintenance, clearing the drains regularly. I don't believe this has happened in the last 3-4 years since the broken drain pipe (between Station road #1 and The Corner House, was fixed, which btw only happened after contacting our MP about it. I hope it will not require MP intervention again, in order to get the drains cleared.

The photo above show the drains on Aug 27 for yet another severe thunderstorm and heavy pour down. The drains work to an extent but not at the rate as they did before due to blockage and need a good clearing. This was reported on Aug 14 showing similar pictures for a severe thunderstorm and down pour. Since the first posting, the status has changed to under investigation, but as can be clearly seen 2 weeks later and nothing has been done about it.
