Dangerous mixing of cyclists and pedestrians on new pathway
Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 22:00, Tuesday 11 August 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
No clear division on new Headley pathway between copse Lane and Bowness Avenue, for cyclists and pedestrians. Cyclists travelling well over 20 mph and almost knocking me over as i stepped out onto the pathway. Cyclists cycling down the very narrow pedestrian path at the bottom of Headley Way. it would help if the project was completed with proper markings on the pathway and signage showing that one side is for cyclists and the other for pedestrians but nothing been done for 4 weeks.

The uphill section between Copse and Bowness is shared.
The reference to downhill is not clear but it may be that the fact that the upper path is not fully open is causing this issue. When all disabled access and railing works are completed this should be operating as segregated.
