Most drains on this road are blocked along the length of this road from St Andrews to the intersection with Manor Road and the drain on Manor Road. This causes damage and house flooding when there is a lot of rain.

These drains have been blocked for several months and some damage was caused to houses on the 25th of July 2020 during heavy rain. The blockages are not just on the surface but go much deeper. On 25th July residence of Berkshire Rd attempted to unblock the drains in front of No. 29 and No.44 by plunging broom handles deep into the drains. The drain on the intersection of Manor Rd and Berkshire Rd could not be unblocked - there was a huge flow of water from Manor Rd and along the length of Berkshire Rd.
Some of the blockages are likely to be caused by Zzoomm digging up the pavements.
