  • This unsigned raised kerb has caused 2 police vehicle accidents in the last 3 weeks. On 01/10/20 at 1901hrs a police vehicle has overtaken a cyclist at the speed limit, in dark and rainy conditions, the raised kerb was not visible and caused two flat, off side tyres. 2 weeks prior, a police car travelling at speed to an immediate incident also collided with this raised kerb causing significant damage to both tyres and axels. This is constantly being temporarily remedied by two orange cones being placed on top, this is not sufficient. Should any vehicle or emergency service travel at speed down this road and collide with this unmarked kerb, this could cause significant injury to persons involved and serious road traffic collisions.
